Fall Family Session in Takoma Park

Last year, their little boy blew out your first candle! For his second birthday, his parents invited me to spend a morning with them, walking around their neighborhood in Takoma Park.

As a documentary family photographer, I love to get to know my couple and their baby beforehand. I know Mariam and Drew since they were pregnant. I was so honored the first time that Mariam asked me to capture her pregnancy. They truly loved the way I photographed their session: we started with an in-home session and then walked around their neighborhood to get more natural and candid moments.

One year later, I was invited to their new home to capture a normal morning with Idris, the new addition to the family! This session was the third one! With this session, they made a beautiful album that I designed to fit the three sessions in a lovely 20-page book.
